The BRX02 D130 Pro Spec Upgrade Set was developed for builders who demand the highest level of scale realism, engineering precision, and trail performance. Built around the officially licensed Land Rover Defender 130 High Capacity Pickup body, the Pro Spec package transforms the BRX02 platform into the ultimate expedition-inspired trail truck.

At its core is the all-new BRX02 130 chassis featuring the BCF2™ Compact 2-Speed Transmission, SWD™ Selectable 2WD / 4WD Transfer Case, BRX90 PHAT™ Axles with heavy-duty helical differential gears, and KUDU™ Rear Coil Spring Suspension System.

The Pro Spec Upgrade Set further enhances the platform with premium scale accessories, performance upgrades, and carefully selected components engineered to improve both appearance and capability.

Inspired by full-size expedition-prepared Defender builds, the Pro Spec package delivers a more aggressive stance, enhanced trail capability, and an unmistakable presence on and off the trail. Every component has been selected to elevate scale realism, durability, or trail capability.

Using the included 8mm and 5mm aluminum wheel hexes supplied with the Defender 130 kit (BR8017), builders can create a realistic staggered wheel setup with the included ProBuild™ adjustable offset wheels. This produces a deeper rear wheel dish for a more purposeful, scale-correct appearance while maintaining the same overall track width.

Difficulty level: 3 out of 5

For best results, the stock D130 body wheel arches require trimming and sanding. Installation of the windscreen roll cage requires drilling into the body.

Overdrive Transfer Case Gears

The included HD machined steel transfer case gears were selected to complement the wider Pro Spec wheel and tire package. The gear set reduces rear axle output speed by approximately 40% compared to the standard gearing, resulting in 32% overdrive at the front axle relative to the rear.

This front overdrive effect improves steering performance, reduces turning radius, and enhances maneuverability on technical terrain by helping pull the vehicle through corners and obstacles with greater control and precision.
