PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The BCF™ Compact Front-Mounted Single-Speed Scale Transmission brings a simpler drivetrain option to the BRX platform for builders who prefer the simplicity of a single-speed setup.

Developed as the single-speed counterpart to our BCF2™ 2-Speed Transmission, the BCF retains the compact front-mounted layout that places the motor and transmission toward the front of the chassis for a more realistic drivetrain configuration and improved scale appearance.

With no shifting mechanism or shift servo required, the BCF provides a straightforward, purpose-built drivetrain solution with fewer moving components and a clean installation.

The gearing is set approximately halfway between the first and second gear ratios of the BCF2 transmission.

The BCF can be retrofitted to all BRX vehicles, giving existing BRX owners the option to convert to a compact single-speed transmission setup. Whether you're building a new BRX or converting an existing vehicle, the BCF provides a simple single-speed alternative to the BCF2.

Converting from BCF2 2-Speed to BCF Single-Speed:

  • The motor mounting position on the BRX chassis remains unchanged.
  • An extended transmission output shaft is included with the BCF Gearbox Set.
  • For BRX01, BRX02, BRX02-109, and BRX02 6x6 vehicles, the BCF Gearbox Set is a direct replacement.
  • BRX01 AWB, BRX02-88, and BRX02 D130 vehicles use a High-Efficiency Coupler Shaft to connect the transmission to the transfer case. When converting these vehicles to the BCF, a longer High-Efficiency Coupler Shaft is required and is available separately.

Longer High-Efficiency Coupler Shafts are available for:
  • BRX01 (if modified) / BRX01 AWB (BR-G200S2)
  • BRX02-88 (BR-G200S1)
  • BRX02-D130 (BR-G200S3)
