Shipping Protection

At Boom Racing Ltd, we want you to shop with confidence. That’s why we offer Shipping Protection (optional shipping insurance) to protect your order in the event of loss, theft, or damage during transit. All orders ship with tracking. Once the carrier marks an order as delivered, Boom Racing Ltd is no longer responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages unless shipping insurance is purchased. At checkout, customers can add shipping insurance for a flat fee based on their order amount. This service protects your order during delivery and provides faster resolution without waiting for the carrier’s compensation process.

Coverage:

Lost Packages:

If the carrier confirms your package is lost in transit, we’ll handle it with priority.

Theft / Porch Piracy:

If tracking shows “delivered” but you did not receive your package.

Damaged Shipments:

If items arrive broken, defective, or unusable due to shipping damage, we’ll resolve it immediately.

Undeliverable Returns:

If the carrier marks your package as undeliverable and returns it to us, we’ll ship your replacement right away instead of waiting for the return to arrive at our warehouse.

Return Location Options (USA & US Territories Customers):

Orders shipped to the USA, Puerto Rico, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa may be returned to our USA warehouse (at your own expense). Orders shipped from the Hong Kong warehouse without Shipping Protection must be returned to the Hong Kong warehouse.

Exclusions

Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer.
Normal wear and tear to packaging or minor cosmetic box damage.
Delays caused by customs clearance, weather events, or carrier backlogs.
Items marked as delivered to the correct address but subsequently misplaced inside apartments, offices, or mailrooms.
Would not cover the item itself after delivery, like warranties, extended protection, or liability insurance.

Claim Process

1. Notify Us: Contact us within 7 days of the delivery date (or expected delivery date for lost packages).
2. Provide Proof: We may ask for photos of the damaged packaging and product, or a carrier confirmation of loss.
3. Resolution: Once approved, we will issue a replacement shipment or a store credit (your choice).

What is Shipping Protection? Shipping Protection is an optional service that covers your order if it is lost, stolen, or damaged during transit. If you add Shipping Protection, we’ll send a replacement or issue a refund if something happens to your package, with priority handling.

Do I need Shipping Protection?

We strongly recommend it, especially for high-value orders or if package theft (“porch piracy”) is common in your area. Without Shipping Protection, the process of getting your order will take longer, and in certain situations (e.g. porch piracy) might not be covered at all.

How much does it cost?

The fee is based on your order value, starting at $1.50 and capped at $15. See our Shipping Insurance Fee Table for details.

How do I file a claim?

Contact us within 7 days of the delivery date (or expected delivery date if never delivered). Provide any required proof (e.g. photos of damage or carrier notice). Once approved, we’ll send a replacement or issue a refund.

What happens if my package is stolen?

Shipping Protection covers packages stolen after home delivery (porch piracy). It does not cover packages that are delivered to a shared building (apartments, offices, mailrooms) and then misplaced or lost internally. Do I get my replacement faster with Shipping Protection? Yes! If your order is insured and the carrier is returning it to us (e.g. failed delivery attempt, unclaimed package), we will ship your replacement right away - no need to wait for the original to come back first.
